Terms of Use

01Scope

These terms apply to two things operated by blue media labs GmbH: the RawWatts iOS app and the rawwatts.com website. Sections 02–04 concern the app; section 05 concerns the website. The app will be distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store, and your download and use of it are also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), supplemented by these terms.

02The app — availability and purchases

RawWatts is not yet released. If the app offers paid features or subscriptions, their price and conditions are shown in the App Store before you buy. Purchases, renewals, refunds, and payment processing are handled by Apple under App Store terms; subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in your App Store account settings.

03The app — training safety, no medical device

RawWatts controls the resistance of your smart trainer. Indoor cycling is physically demanding: ride within your limits, stop if you feel unwell, and consult a doctor before starting a training program if you have any health concerns. Power, heart rate, cadence, speed and distance come from your trainer and sensors and may be inaccurate. RawWatts is a training tool, not a medical device, and its readings must not be used for medical purposes.

04The app — Strava and other services

Connecting Strava is optional. When you connect it, your use of Strava is governed by Strava's own terms and privacy policy, and you can disconnect at any time in the app. RawWatts works with third-party trainers and sensors; their makers are not responsible for RawWatts, and we are not responsible for their hardware or firmware.

05The website

rawwatts.com is provided for information about RawWatts. We work to keep it accurate and available, but provide it "as is," without warranty, and may update or change its content at any time. Please don't misuse the site — no attempts to disrupt it, to access it other than through its intended interface, or to scrape it at a scale that burdens the service. External links are offered for convenience, and we are not responsible for third-party sites. How the website and the app handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

06Intellectual property

The RawWatts app, this website, and their content are protected by copyright. Third-party product names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
